A truly great person. Steve was always a joy to be around at work. He always had this positive outlook and saw the best in others with that smile and half grin of his. With a genuinely good heart he will be sadly missed by all who really knew him. May your star shine brightly forever in the heavens and in our memories. Thank You for the privilege of knowing you. My sincere condolence to the family.

I was so sorry to hear this. Steve was one of the best supervisors I've ever worked for at Peach Bottom. He genuinely cared about his guys. Our world is a lesser place without him.

This is indeed sad news, and Candice and her family are in our thoughts and prayers for peace and comfort.
Steve was a good man - thoughtful, hardworking, full of integrity, with a gentle, contagious laugh. In his presence, it always felt that the world was a good place to be.
He will certainly be missed. Our deepest sympathies to the Tanner family.

Steve was a tremendous help on a number of my projects at the station. And even if he wasn't directly involved and I needed some Operations help or expertise, Steve was always willing to help. His calm demeanor and willingness to help with be missed. Steve: Fair winds and following seas, and long may your big jib draw!

Deepest condolences of the passing of the greatest of guys. It has been too many years since we saw each other. We spent years together at Zimmer, Limerick and Peach Bottom, and we played Pinochle with friends for countless hours at each others homes. Steve will be missed and certainly remembered.

My prayers and sympathies are with Steve's family at this time. Steve was a talented and carrying man. He was part of the interview team that hired me at Peach Bottom. He was a great supervisor and leader that cared deeply about his people. I count it an honor have been able to work along side of this man.

Steve was so generous with his time and talent and a treasure to work with, but to me, what stood out most was Steve's outlook on things and his ability to see the best in other people. When Steve was learning the plant and someone's name would come up and if you asked Steve if he met them yet, his reply was always, "Yeah, he's a good guy." We lost a great guy in Steve,
