Wilson was born in Berwick, April 7, 1927, the son of the late Wilson, Sr. and Laura (Brown) and lived in Berwick all his life.  A WWII Veteran, Wilson served in the European Theatre Operations in North Africa.

A partner of the former Van’s Furniture and Appliance Store and later the head of Maintenance at Holy Family Convent in Danville, Wilson was a master of many trades from refrigeration service, appliance repair and home building to snow plowing and yard maintenance.   He loved the outdoors and spent time year- round in his yard, planting, mowing, raking leaves and plowing.

Married for 53 years to Marion (Shaw) until her passing in December 2000, he was a devoted husband and loving father of four – Wayne, Sandy, Terry and Jay, two daughter in-laws – Nuey and Maxine and son in-law, Sean.

His seven grandchildren include – Cullen, Autumn, Rianne, Corey, Paige, Dwayne and Brandon and eleven great grandchildren – Lexi, Caleb, Shylo, Bransen, Rocco, Loukas, Nina, Jaxon, Carmen, Samuel and Miles.

Nothing brought him more joy than to help his family no matter when or what they needed.  He could always be seen with a smile, sitting in his favorite chair at family gatherings.

A devout Christian, Wilson was a long time member of Stone United Methodist Church where he served as Chair of the Administrative Board, taught young adult and adult Sunday School and served as lay leader for many years.

He was a life member of Ranger Hose Company in Berwick along with his father who passed in 1991, and brother Jack who passed in 2014.  A brother Robert, lived in Chandler, Arizona until the time of his passing in 1984.  Wilson is survived by a sister, Betty Stout, who is living with her granddaughter, Lynnette in Moscow, PA.
