Wellington Keifer, 93, of Berwick passed away Sunday January 30, 2021 at The Gardens of Orangeville. He was born March 26, 1927 in Berwick, a son of the late Luther and Anna (Eckrote) Keifer.
He attended one room school house in Berwick before joining the United States Army, serving during World War II. He worked at Car-Mar as a welder. Wellington loved restoring antique cars and taking them to car shows. He loved traveling with his wife and friends to all the different states, especially Alaska. He worked for many years at Summerhill Farms helping out in the fields. He was a member of Summerhill Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife the former Dorothy Fenstemaker, whom he married October 14, 1949., and three generations of nieces and nephews. He is the last survivor of his immediate family.
Wellington was preceded in death by his parents as well as three brothers; Wilbur, Frederick, Carl Keifer, and sister Martha Trego.
Services will be Friday February 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at Summerhill Methodist Church with Pastor Max Sitler officiating. Burial will follow at Summerhill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the church.
