Terry Russel Hack, 69, of rural Stillwater and Ocala, Florida, passed away Tuesday February 9, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville with his wife Rose by his side. He was born August 3, 1951 in Berwick, a son of Ethel (Brown) Hack and the late Frederick “Ted” Hack.
He graduated from Benton High School class of 1970. Terry retired at the age of 54 from PennDot, Columbia County after working for 35 years. He enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, setting up at local gun shows with his friend Denny Loreman, hanging out with his friends and family, playing cards, and just having crown royal on the rocks.
Terry loved having gatherings and celebrations at the home he built with his wife Rose. He and his wife traveled the New England Coast, and cruised to Alaska. They took many trips to Delaware where they owned a summer home, until they sold it to buy a winter home in Ocala, Florida.
He was a member of Bloomsburg Elk #436, and the Divide Hunting Club, Berwick. Terry loved spending time hunting, especially his hunting trip to Wyoming with his friends, and his salmon fishing trips to New York with his fishing buddies.
Terry is survived by his mom as well as his wife the former Rose Foust, whom he married September 1, 1978, celebrating 42 years of marriage and a wonderful life together, sister Gail Long, brother Randy Hack (Denise), mother-in-law Jean Foust, brother-in-law Scott Foust wife Courtney, sister-in-law Pam Andrezze husband John, four nephews; Jeff Long, Danny Long, Alan Hack, John Andrezze, niece Bridget Miller, several great-nieces and nephews, and his dachshund Ginger.
He was preceded in death by his father as well as his nephews Fred Long and Russell Hack, father-in-law Ray Foust, brother-in-law Leo Long, and Henry Schenck companion of his mother.
