Suzanne M Huray

Suzanne M. Huray, 72, passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband of 54 years, following her courageous battle with cancer.  

She was born October 22, 1948 at the Berwick Hospital, daughter of the late Karl and Dorothy Hartman.

Suzanne's life was devoted to her family. She prided herself as being a stay-at-home mom to her daughters, but becoming Nana to her four grandchildren brought her the most joy.

She was the heart and soul of the family, giving the most generous hugs and lighting up any room with her beautiful smile.

She is survived by her husband, Regis, her daughter Lisa Favata, wife of Joseph Favata, her daughter Tammy Huray,  grandchildren: Brandon Dougherty, Joshua Dougherty, Sabrina Sura and Cheylene Sura, brother Karl Hartman and wife Faye, brother Richard Hartman and wife Pam and her uncle Clair Kore.

Her final days were spent surrounded by her husband, daughters, grandchildren and her dearest friend, Cynthia Wert. 

The family would like to thank Commonwealth Hospice of Berwick for their kind and compassionate care.  A special thanks to Amy Kemp and Tori Talanca for their loving efforts to make her final hours peaceful.

Suzanne has been entrusted to the care of James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Berwick. To honor her last wishes, there will be no services.
