Sandi S. (Hook) Kashner

Sandi S. Kashner, 68, of Berwick passed away Sunday October 23, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 4, 1948 in Shickshinny, a daughter of the late Ted and June (Ridall) Hook.

She graduated high school from Tell U Ride, Colorado. Sandy enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, making jewelry, crafting, camping, spending the week camping at the Bloomsburg Fair, traveling especially in the motor home. She loved going to the beach, her dogs Little Man and Ling. Sandi was the President of the West Berwick Hose Company’s Ladies Auxiliary for 10 years and took great pride in her work with the Needy Kids Foundation.

Sandi is survived by her husband Charles Kashner, three children; Angela Clark, Ricky Gauthreaux, Bradley Kashner, and adopted daughter Jozette Young. As well as four grandchildren; Tauntiana Shimko, Sandra Gauthreaux-Bothell, Victoria Gauthreaux, Heather Gauthreaux, and seven great-grandchildren; Celeste Bothell, Cameron Bothell, Joy Bothell, Charlie Bothell, Link Bothell, Abbigayle Vought, and Gabriel Vought.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her grandson Little Ricky Gauthreaux.

Services will be Thursday October 27, 2016 at 3:00 pm at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc, 1024 Market St., Berwick with Hospice Chaplain Mike Delp officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until time of service.
