Salem Ashton Grimm

Salem Ashton Grimm, (formerly known as Angela Whitney Lorenz) 33, of Bloomsburg PA ended his life journey as he passed away on Friday July 12th 2024 in his sleep from suspected complications from pulmonary embolism and  blood clots. His loss is completely unexpected and his family is profoundly saddened. Born August 4th 1990 at Geisinger in Danville. Over the years lived in Beach Haven, Berwick, Franklinville NC, Lightstreet and most recently in Bloomsburg. After graduating from High School in 2009 he worked as a telemarketer and as a cashier at Walmart. He was very passionate about movies, music, writing, and art. Was in process of transitioning from female to male, although he wasn't able to complete it he was on a long hard journey to find love, acceptance and peace. Hopefully he's found all that now in the next phase of existence. He will be fervently missed by all those whose hearts he's touched. 

Survived by: Sherry Miller (Mother) Timothy Lorenz (Father) Taran Lorenz (Half brother) Sonia Lorenz (Step Mother) Shay (Long Time Companion and best friend) Along with many other family members in Pa, NC, NJ, and Florida.

As per his wishes his body was cremated. While there wasn't wake or formal service, a future rememberance get together is in early stages of being planned.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Salem’s memory may be sent to the funeral home at 1024 N. Market St., Berwick, Pa, 18603 to help defray funeral expenses.
