Ruth A. Linsinbigler, age 101, of Briar Creek Township passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 4, 2023.
Born on the family farm in Hunlock Creek, she was the daughter of the late Dosha (Hess) Flynn and Luther H. Flynn.
Ruth graduated from Harter High School in Shickshinny. She married the late Harry L. Linsinbigler in 1940.
Ruth enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and family, and working in her yard. She was elegant, strong, independent, beautiful inside and out, and the undeniable anchor of her family and loved ones. She will be dearly missed, more so than most could possibly imagine.
Ruth is survived by her son, Gary D. Linsinbigler of Berwick; granddaughter, Tracy Stout of Berwick, and her sons, Kyle Walton and Blake Stout of Nescopeck; granddaughter, Brenda Linsinbigler of Berwick; granddaughter, Diane Sharkus and husband, John, of Hunlock Creek, and their sons, Lance and Troy; Randee Linsinbigler, wife of the late Harry Linsinbigler, Jr., granddaughter Kristie Nelson and husband, Craig; grandson, the Rev. Dr. Harry Linsibigler III and wife, Carrie, of Dover, Florida, and their children, Harry IV, Alexis, and Elizabeth. She also leaves behind great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, husband, and son, Harry Linsinbigler, Jr., she was preceded in death by her four siblings: Mildred Linsibigler, Audrey Sirak, Gordon Flynn, and Alice Royer.
Committal services to be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Pine Grove Cemetery Annex, 1440 Walnut Street, Berwick.
