Ronald A Smith

Ronald A. Smith, 79, of Berwick passed away Sunday January 31, 2021 at Berwick Retirement Village I. He was born October 12, 1941 in Berwick, a son of the late Howard and Vera (Lloyd) Smith.

He graduated from Nescopeck High School and worked at Barletta’s as a truck driver. Ron enjoyed reading, gardening, going hunting, and going on vacation with his family to the New Jersey shore.  He was a member of the Berwick Elks Lodge #1138.

Ron is survived by his wife the former Peggy Lupini, whom he married December 1963, two children; Ronald A. Smith Jr. wife Jolinda of Wapwallopen, Pamela Simpson husband Robert of Bloomsburg, four grandchildren; Katie and Daniel Simpson, Alyssa and Amberly  Smith, brother Robert Smith wife Pat of Nescopeck and sister Linda Cole of Berwick.

He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his two brothers Gerald and Danny Smith.
