Roberta Jane (Weikel) McCracken

Roberta Jane McCracken, 86, of Berwick passed away on April 23, 2023 at Bonham's Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for two years. She was born March 12, 1937 in Washington DC, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Moore) Weikel.

She graduated from Berwick High School class of 1955, later moving to California. She returned to Berwick in 1967 to work with her parents at Weikel's Restaurant. Roberta married Bryan McCracken in 1977 and together they ran the restaurant for over 20 years, serving the Berwick and surrounding areas.

Roberta loved traveling, camping, and riding motorcycles with friends. She enjoyed NASCAR races especially Rusty Wallace, and spent hours painting ceramics and putting puzzles together. Her favorite thing to do was spending time in her swimming pool with her grandchildren.

Roberta is survived by her daughter Lisa William McClelland husband Larry of Nescopeck, four grandchildren; Danielle Welsh McCracken husband Michael of Berwick, Kristen Welsh Davis husband Justin of Lightstreet, Steven Welsh wife Kirsten of Berwick, Jennifer Williams of Florida, eleven great-grandchildren; Kayla, Tyler, Morgan, Lyndsey, Laney, Harrison, Jake, Derek, Rylie, Emma, and Kaylee Rose.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Bryan Lee McCracken, and son Danny Robert Williams.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
