Rise Jeanne (Lezette) Kehl

Risë Jeanne Lezette Kehl, 66, of Berwick passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She was born November 22, 1949 in Hudson, NY, a daughter of the late George Ira and Marie (Grab) Lezette.

She graduated from Hudson High School in 1967 and attended beauty school and received her beautician license which allowed her to raise her children while working from her beauty shop in her home in Berwick. She enjoyed making cakes for her friends and family. After retiring she kept busy watching her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed visiting casinos with her longtime best friend Deborah Yohey.

Risë is survived by her husband Robert E. Kehl Jr., whom she married September 4, 1977. Risë will be remembered as a loving mother to Lisette Hoffman Normandin wife of Todd, Jamie Hoffman Blockus and companion Brian Boone, all of Berwick, Tyler Hoffman and wife Marchelle of Waxhaw, NC, and Jeffrey Kehl and wife Katherine of Hanover Township, PA. She was a devoted grandmother to Lauren Normandin Krebs and husband Wyatt, Adam Normandin, Natalie and Andrew Blockus, Jacob, Abigail, and Brianna Hoffman, Ainsli Kehl Girmen, and Geoffrey Kehl. She is also survived by three sisters; Cherié Speer, Joan Miller, and Ann Pelesz, a brother Rodney Lezette, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday March 12, 2016 at 6:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 224 West Front Street, Berwick with Chaplain Mike Delp officiating.
