Rebecca A Steward

Rebecca A Steward, 56, of Berwick passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 26, 2023. She was born in Berwick, PA on Aug. 2, 1967, a daughter of Mildred (Adams) Steward of Berwick, and the late Robert Andrew Steward.

She attended Berwick High School and worked as an in-home caregiver, employed through Hope Enterprise. Rebecca enjoyed cooking, taking care of her home and garden, hosting for the holidays, and outdoor activities with friends and family. She was always willing to help others whenever they needed. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and those she loved. She also showed pride in belonging to the ladies auxiliary at the Garibaldi Society where she loved to play bunko.

In addition to her mother, she will be greatly missed by her loving children: Tristan DiPippa, wife Jennifer, and grandchildren Braiden, Isabella, and Grant Berwick; Louis DiPippa, wife Emily and grandchildren Layla and Landry, Berwick; sisters: Erath Zelewicz and husband, John, Berwick; Avis Steward Miller, Berwick; Renee Pecorelli and husband Dan, Berwick; brother: Robert Adam Steward, Berwick; additional family members: Donald Reese and Andrew Carodiskey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Julain Steward and Robert D Steward and maternal grandparents: Jesse Adams and Leona Adams.

Services will be Tuesday October 3, 2023 at 11:00 am at St Pauls United Methodist Church, 1000 Orange Street, Berwick, PA 18603 with Pastor William Klebe officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the church.
