Patricia Ann (Gearhart) Rubery, 72, previously of Berwick, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Highlands Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Laporte. She was born June 4, 1952, in Berwick, a daughter of the late Blaine Gearhart and Betty (Davis) Andress.
She graduated from Berwick High School and then worked at Salem House, McDonald’s, K-Mart, Albertson Eyecare, and Berwick Hospital. She enjoyed reading, collecting lighthouses, carousels, and Coke memorabilia. Most of all, she loved spending time with family.
Patricia is survived by three sons; Heath Rupp, Ryan Rupp wife Anne, and David Rupp wife MariJo, all of Berwick, six grandchildren; Emily, Jenna, Kendall, Addison, Lily, and Aubrey, sister Brenda Bloom, and lifelong friend Georgene Whitebread.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents as well as sister Donna Mattive.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday January 2, 2025 at 11:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 N. Market St., Berwick with Pastor Mark Messner officiating. Burial will follow at Summerhill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
