Neal K Karns

     Neal K. Karns 86, of Berwick, went to be with the Lord, Friday May 15, 2020at Berwick Retirement Village ll.

Neal was born December 07, 1933, in Berwick, the son of the late Russell and Marilla  ( Hartman) Karns, in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie (Beaver) Karns on December 18, 2011 and a sister Jean Hess.

Neal was a graduate of Benton High school Class of 1951, he joined the Army and then Army reserve. Neal worked for Bloomsburg University. He belonged to the Columbia County Barber shoppers. Neal belonged to Bethany United Methodist Church, were he sang in the Choir.  

 Neal is survived by three son, Richard A. Karns and his wife Joyce, Kenton L. Karns and his wife Lori all of Berwick and Mark E. Karns and his wife Carol of Bloomsburg, ten grandchildren; Philip Karns , Jennifer Banks, Kelee James, Ashley Allen, Angelia Karns, Cassandra Golden, Patrick Dutzer, Todd Lunger, Chad Lunger, Jamie Karns, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private because of the Coivd-19 pandemic.
