Matthew D. Travelpiece, 30, of Berwick went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 10, 2021, at his Berwick residence. He was born October 18, 1991, in Berwick, a son of Valerie (Erwine) and Steven Baylor.
He was a member of the Berwick Area High School Band 2009-2010 and graduated from the Berwick Area High School class of 2010. He worked for Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. Matt belonged to M.O.O. Airsoft sports team. His dream job was to become a pilot. He was a member of the Evansville United Methodist Church. In his spare time Matt enjoyed all kinds of games on all gaming consoles, and many board, card, and outside games. Matt was very devoted to his family and friends and loved spending time with them and helping out. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping. Matt always had a great big heart and a great big smile to go with it. He was a very dedicated Dog-Dad to his dog Nova.
Matt is survived by his parents as well as Grandparents John and Eileen Erwine of Bloomsburg, Aunt and Uncle (Mom and Dad) Jennifer and Terry Levan of Berwick, Uncle Leonard Erwine and wife Barbara of Virginia, sisters Crystal Long of Berwick and Rebecca Travelpiece of North Carolina, step-brother Samuel Baylor of Bloomsburg, cousin/brother Jered Levan and fiancée Gabrielle Curry of Berwick, and cousin/sister Chelsea and Robert Terry of Berwick, Nieces Mary Kishbaugh and Savannah Terry, Nephews Talon Terry and Braydan Terry all of Berwick and many Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of life will be held Sunday December 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Buckhorn United Methodist Church, 94 Schoolhouse Road, Bloomsburg with Pastor Margaret McCarty officiating.
