Mary Balazs

Mary Balazs, 81, of Berwick passed away on Friday December 15, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was previously a resident at Glen Brook Rehab and Healthcare in Berwick. She was born January 19, 1942, in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late John Henry and Amanda Jane (Wilson) Morgan.

She was born, raised, and educated in Harrisburg, PA. She worked at Berwick Cigar Factory and Berwick Offray Ribbon Plant. Mary enjoyed going to yard sales, flea markets, antique shopping, bowling, and making ceramics.

Mary is survived by her four children; Carl Anthony Jr. wife Susan of Hector, NY, George Anthony wife Christine of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Frank Wallick Jr. of Reading, PA, Violet Wallick Bronzburg husband Martin of Berwick, seven grandchildren; Peter, Dominic, Ryan, Dylan, Connor, Katelyn, Brittney. She was one of sixteen children with only her brother Ronald Morgan of Harrisburg surviving her.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband Robert Balazs, and fourteen siblings.
