Leoma Mae Tuggle, 83, of Benton and formerly of Berwick passed away Monday May 30, 2016 at her residence. She was born November 30, 1932 in Berwick, a daughter of the late William and Velma (Hill) Keefer.
She attended Berwick schools and worked at Zepher Dinner as a waitress, Penn Card for 6 years, and Consolidated Cigar Co. for 19 years. Leoma was a member of Free Methodist Church, Nescopeck where she was a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed doing crafts and volunteer work at church. She resided with her grandson Jeremey Musselman and wife Kelly for the last 10 years.
Leoma is survived by two sons; William J. Tuggle and wife Leona, and Richard S. Tuggle all of Berwick, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a God daughter Jennifer Farmer. Also, a brother Marvin (Ink) Keefer and wife Phyllis of Berwick.
Leoma was preceded in death by her husband Clyde L. Tuggle, who passed away January 23, 1995, two daughters; Deborah Musselman and Freda Sue English, son Clyde Tuggle, and brother Robert Keefer.
Services will be Thursday June 2, 2016 at 10:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc, 1024 Market St., Berwick. Burial will follow at Elan Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from 9:00 am till time of service.
