Kaye Chupcavich Obituary

Kaye Maxine Chupcavich, 71, of Berwick passed away on Monday October 31, 2022, at Bloomsburg Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on November 16, 1950, in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late Budd H. and Nancy (Stoner) Henderson. 

She attended the elementary school in Chambersburg and graduated from Chambersburg Trojan High School. She was employed at Rite Aid, Sunny Way Grocery Store, and Lighthouse Family Restaurant. Kaye quit working at the Lighthouse Restaurant in September of 1982.

Kaye began correspondence with William Jerome Chupavich in November of 1981. They met for the first time in March of 1982. They met each other as pen pals through a Christian Life Magazine. Kaye and William were married on October 16, 1982. They had one son born on July 25, 1984.

She was a member of Berwick Assembly of God Church and enjoyed collecting crafts. 

Kaye is survived by her husband William Chupcavich, son William “Willie” Chupcavich, brother Randall Henderson wife Connie of NC, and sister Marsha Walls of Chambersburg, PA.  

A celebration of life will be held Friday November 11, 2022, at 11:00 am at Berwick Assembly of God Church, 801 E. 5th St., Berwick with Pastor Scott Bekah and Pastor Michael Craig officiating. Burial will follow at Elan Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the church.
