Joyce A. (Reese) Rex

Joyce A. Rex, 88, of Berwick, passed away Monday March 7, 2016 at Berwick Retirement Village II. She was born September 26, 1927 in Berwick, a daughter of the late Martin L. and Ida Reese.
She graduated from Berwick High School and then worked as a clerk at Tri County Gas and Oil, and for Connie Gingher Tax Collector. She was a lifelong member of the Garibaldi Society. Joyce liked sewing, golfing, and spending time with her family.
Joyce is survived by two children; Kim Seigfreid and husband Kenny of Berwick, and David Brown and wife Cindy of Berwick, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and sister Hope Klinger of Orangeville.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Sonny E. Rex, who passed away in 1999, two sons; Mark Brown and Stephen Rex, daughter Jorja Dent, two sisters; Jenny Heintzelman and Thelma McAfee, and brother Bud Reese.
Services will be Friday March 11, 2016 at 10:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 Market St., Berwick with Scott Rex officiating. Burial will follow at Summerhill Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday March 10, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
