Joella D. Jurbala, 74, of Berwick, went to be with the Lord, Friday March 26, 2021 at her residence unexpectedly. She was born March 29, 1946, in Berwick, a daughter of the late Joseph and D’Ella (McMillian) Cartwright.
She lived her entire life in the Berwick Area and was a was a graduate of Berwick High School. Joella loved and cherished her family and friends. She loved to read, especially books by her favorite author Stephen King. Her favorite holiday was Christmas Eve. She loved having friends over to cook and entertain. She enjoyed going to the beach, and taking cruises to explore. Joella was working at the Berwick Weis Store, since her retirement from Berwick Offray.
Joella is survived by her two sons, Michael Jurbala Jr. and wife Shari, Joseph (Troy) Jurbala and his companion Tina Clarke, all of Berwick. As well as her former husband and friend Michael Jurbala Sr. and companion Sherri Schaich, three grandchildren; Brittney husband Matthew Bower, Michael Jurbala lll. wife Jessica and Jessica husband Brandon Gordner, and five great grandchildren; Ana Lisa, Tripp, Skyla, Eloise, Hailee.
Joella was preceded in death by her parents as well as her three cats; Salem, Binky, Dubber, and dog Bruce.
