Janet M. (Klinger) Lapinski

Janet M. Lapinski, 88, of Berwick passed away Tuesday June 26, 2018 at the Gardens of Orangeville. She was born October 12, 1929 in Berwick, a daughter of the late Donald and Minnie (Jones) Klinger.

She graduated from Berwick High School class of 1947. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church. Janet enjoyed doing word finds and spending time with her family.

Janet is survived by four children; Joseph A. Lapinski and wife Jacalyn of Montoursville, Thomas P. Lapinski wife Jeannie of Almedia, Rose Marie Church husband Carl of Berwick, and Christine Lapinski of Danville, six grandchildren; Julie Griffith, Rachel Bradley, Aaron Lapinski, Nicole Lapinski, Carl Church Jr., and Tammy Church, and seven great-granchildren; Audrey, Shane, and Devin Griffith, Julia and Rebecca Bradley, Riley and Katlynn Church.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Walter G. Lapinski who passed away November 2, 2003, son George W. Lapinski who passed away August 17, 2013, and two brothers; Grayden Klinger who passed away November 5, 2017, and Sylvan Klinger who passed away December 18, 2017. All three siblings passed away within seven months.
