Obituary
James H. (Skip) Troy 79, of Berwick, went to be with the Lord, Monday June 12, 2023, at the Geisinger Medical Center Danville.
James was born, February 17, 1944, in Catawissa, a son of the late Harold and Marla Crevlen. After James was born, they moved to Benton, where he was raised and spent most of his life. Skip graduated from Benton High School Class of 1962. he owned and operated a bait and tackle shop. James then drove tractor trailers for over 25 years, before retiring. He loved to fish and golf. James was an avid fisherman fishing in local bass tournaments. He and his wife ran many fishing Tournaments, in Pa,N.Y.,N.J.,and C.T.
James is survived by his wife, the former Joan Bielucke whom he married on September 20, 1984, three stepsons, Tony J. LaMotta of Taylor Pa, Robert P LaMotta and his wife Theresa of Ashley Pa, and Micheal LaMotta of Dickson City PA; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, and a sister Nancy Powel of Sweet Valley.
