Jack H. Miller Sr., 90, of Berwick passed away on Saturday January 7, 2023, at his residence. He was born August 17, 1932, in Berwick, a son of the late Oscar and Martha (Michael) Miller.
He graduated from Berwick High School and joined the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a supervisor at the Berwick Knitting Mill. Jack enjoyed playing video games, going camping, going out on the water in his boat, and in his younger years golfing. Jack coached little league and teener league baseball for 18 years.
Jack is survived by six children: Jack H. Miller Jr. companion Marie Lewis, Stephen M. Miller wife Michelle, Douglas L. Miller wife Margaret, Michael D. Miller wife Leigh, Bradley S. Miller companion Cassie, and Vicki Hawkins, all of Berwick. As well as fourteen grandchildren; Tara companion Matt, Joshua, Kyle, Anna, Autumn husband Chris, Dylan, Tia, Ethan, Katelyn, Aaron, Alec, Josh fiancé Susie, Jake, Reilly, and seven great-grandchildren; Brayden, Harper, Maddox, Madison, Bryce, Cameron, Braylon, and two brothers; Robert and Kenneth Miller.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife the former Marla Unger, who passed away on May 21, 2015, and brother Richard Miller.
Services will be Wednesday January 11, 2023, at noon at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 Market St., Berwick with Pastor Autumn Kishbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until time of service.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Jack’s memory may be sent to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
