Howard A. Beach, 81, of Berwick, went to be with the Lord, Monday October 26, 2020, at The Gardens at Millville. He was born December 24, 1938, in Nescopeck, a son of the late Fredrick and Violet (Kemerer) Beach.
He was a graduate of Berwick High School Class of 1957, and took classes at Luzerne County Community College. Howard was a Police Officer, from 1971 till 2002, for the Berwick Police Department. After retiring he served on Berwick Council for many years. He was a member of the N.R.A, Ridge Runners, Defenders Fire Co. and Bower Memorial United Methodist Church.
Howard is survived by his wife, the former Lenore ( Decker) whom he married on October 1, 1994, two sons, James Beach, Clint Beach and his wife Lisa, granddaughter Jordan Beach, and great-granddaughter Payton Titus. As well as two brothers, Ronald Beach and his wife Dorothy and Dean Beach and his wife Carol.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother Fredrick Beach and sister in-law Pauline.
Celebration will be, Thursday, October 26, 2020, at 11:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 Market St., Berwick, with his brother Ronald Beach officiating. Family will receive friends and family from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
