Harry W. Titus, known affectionately to many as Red’s, passed away on April 20, 2026, in Dushore. He was born on October 16, 1962, in Berwick, a son of Catherine (Stout) Titus and the late Clifford W. “Bert” Titus Sr.
Red’s attended Berwick High School and later built a life defined by hard work, dedication, and community spirit. He owned and operated Red’s Roofing for more than 30 years, earning the respect of customers, neighbors, and friends through his reliability, skill, and honest approach to his work. His business was more than a livelihood. It was a reflection of his character, and he took pride in serving others with integrity and care.
He was a member of Hetlerville United Methodist Church and remained connected to his community in many meaningful ways. He sponsored the Berwick Bulldogs, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and Dushore Library, regularly showing his steadfast commitment to supporting causes close to his heart. Harry believed in giving back quietly and consistently, and he did so with the same sincerity that marked every part of his life.
In his personal time, Red’s enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren. He was also known as a great cook, and those fortunate enough to share a meal with him knew that his talents extended well beyond his work. Whether he was outdoors, in the kitchen, or surrounded by family, he brought a sense of comfort and togetherness that will be deeply missed.
Red’s is survived by his two daughters, Jessica L. Young and her husband Josh, and Janelle L. Seigfreid and her husband Derek, all of Berwick. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Jordan Young, Gage Dunn, Delilah Seigfreid, and Gemma Seigfreid, who brought him tremendous pride and happiness. He is further survived by his brother, Clifford W. Titus Jr. and his wife Gail of Berwick, sister, Tammy Jo Farver and her husband Mark of Nescopeck, companion Shirley L. Weaver and loving cat Stinky. He was preceded in death by his father as well as his sister Alice Lane.
Services will be held on Saturday April 25, 2026, at noon at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 N. Market St., Berwick with Pastor Josh Yorks officiating.
