Gary "Boz" Brent Kreischer

Gary “Boz” Brent Kreischer, 75, of Berwick, passed away on Saturday March 1, 2025, at his residence. He was born September 28, 1949, in Berwick, a son of the late Charles and Marie Lucille (Bower) Kreischer.

He graduated from Berwick High School class of 1967 and then from Bloomsburg Teacher College. After graduating from college, he taught Computer Science in Timonium Maryland, until he moved back to Berwick and started at Berwick Ofray where he did data processing until for 40 years before retiring. Gary was the voice of the Berwick Bulldogs announcing at Crispin Field and numerous boys basketballs games. He was the spotter for Jim Doyle as well. He loved broadcasting.

Gary was a member of Summerhill EUM Church where he was the church treasure for over 40 years and held numerous other positions. He was an avid Philadelphia sports team, and Berwick Bulldog fan. Gary was full of sports knowledge, if you had a question he knew the answer.

Gary is survived by his brother William Kreischer of Berwick, son Brent Kreischer of California, stepson Ryan Williams and companion Vestina of Berwick, two step grandchildren; Lily and Carson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday March 6, 2025, at noon at Summerhill EUM Church, 157 Twin Church Road, Berwick. Burial will follow at Summerhill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the church.
