Garry J Hrinda

Garry J. Hrinda, 63 of Glen Brook Rehabilitation Center, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 28, 2022. He was born in Berwick on November 6, 1958.

Garry is a 1978 graduate of Berwick Senior High School. He also attended trade schools for wood working and HVAC. He was employed as a maintenance technician at Ellwood City Hospital. Before leaving to become a service technician at Myers Equipment Corp preceding his illness.

Garry was a dedicated fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. He loved all things trains! He was a long time member of the Clarion Model Railroad Club. Eventually having the opportunity to help restore an Erie Lackawanna Railroad Caboose. Garry and Debbie enjoyed an adventurous life traveling the country. He was an avid bowler, who enjoyed bowling in the local leagues.

Garry was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Debbie, father John Hrinda and sister Darcia Hrinda.

He is survived by his mother Cora Gascon of Berwick, twin brother Larry Hrinda of Berwick, brother Duane Hrinda and wife Rebecca of Nescopeck, sisters Beth McParland and husband Larry of Graham NC, Kathleen Mason and husband Gentry of Nescopeck, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Services are Wednesday November 2, 2022 at 11:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 Market St., Berwick with Chaplain Mike Delp officiating. Burial will at Pine Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
