Frederick W. Briggs, 94, of Berwick passed away December 18, 2015 at his residence. He was born October 4, 1921 in Berwick, a son of the late Fred C. and Laura (Whitenight) Briggs.
He attended Berwick High School and then entered the Air Force during World War II. Fred enjoyed wood working and could fix about anything. He used to use ham radio. He worked Data Paper Supply as a maintenance worker.
Frederick is survived by two children: James F. Briggs and wife Blanche of, Corry, PA, and a daughter Jeanne Briggs of Berwick. Also, six grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his wife the former Clara M. Bredbenner, two brothers; Emery and Kenneth Briggs and a sister Eris Lehman.
