Francine J (Farver) Hiester

Francine J. (Farver) Hiester, 71, passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2021 at Solarna Skilled Nursing Center in Pensacola, Florida.
Born in Berwick on July 5,1949 , she was the daughter of the late Floyd Farver and Alverta (Lechleitner) Farver.
Francine graduated from Berwick High School in 1967 She went on to attend Albright College.
Francine lived in Delaware for over 20 years before moving to Pensacola where she resided for over 30 years. Her last job before retiring was a pharmacist technician where she had the opportunity to travel through the U.S. training others on a new computer system and tour different states. She also traveled to Mexico to meet with her brother and sisters several times.
Besides Francine's love for traveling, she loved to help out homeless Veterans. She would assist them on getting their VA benefits, housing, or whatever their needs were. Her kindness was felt by many homeless people and animals.
Francine is survived by two sons, Jason(Adrienne), Joseph(Jennifer) all from Delaware, her brother Douglas(Sherrie) of Tennessee, her sister Libby Stone of Delaware, her sister Jayne Yarling and companion Robert Long of Catawissa, Pennsylvania, nieces, great niece and great nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
