Ellen K (Yohey) Yarmel

Ellen K. Yarmel, 66, of Orangeville passed away Thursday October 10, 2024 at her residence. She was born September 16, 1958 in Berwick, a daughter of the late Howard Yohey and Eleanor Yohey English.
She graduated from Central Columbia High School class of 1976 and worked at Berwick Offray for many years. Ellen enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with her family. She was known as “Goofy Grammy.”
Ellen is survived by her husband William Yarmel, whom she married September 16, 2006, four children; Jeremiah M. Cooper of Bloomsburg, Justin E. Cooper wife Janelle of Bellefonte, Stacy Hermanofski husband Rodney of Shickshinny, Lisa Moore husband Brian of Bloomsburg, six grandchildren, five brothers; Charlie Yohey wife Sue of Mifflinville, Richard Yohey wife Gail of Orangeville, Harry Yohey of Berwick, Donald Yohey wife Charlene of Berwick, Paul Yohey wife Cheryl of Berwick, and sister Ann Burkland husband Rodney of Orangeville.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father Joseph English, as well as brother David Yohey and sister Mary Ducellier.
Services will be Wednesday October 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 N. Market St., Berwickwith Pastor Gail Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow at Elan Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
