Eckley N. Young
Obituary
Eckley N. Young, 80, of Berwick passed away on Wednesday December 28, 2022 at his residence. He was born June 22, 1942 in Berwick, a son of the late Edwin and Eldora (Robbins) Young.
He graduated from Central Columbia High School and worked at Wise Potato Chips for 43 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army where he served as a tank gunner. He was a lifetime member of the Ranger Fire Co., former Little League Coach, and former Scout leader. Eckley loved traveling with his wife, the Philadelphia Phillies, and classic cars.
Eckley is survived by his wife the former Linda Parr, whom he married March 16, 1968, three children; Christopher Young wife Susan of State College, Stephanie Young of Berwick, Michelle Dietterick husband Scott of Berwick, four grandchildren; Cole Dietterick, Kyle Ryman fiancé Courtney Whitmire, Kassidy Ryman, Grace Young, two brothers; Edwin Young Jr. of Benton, and Elvin Young wife Jane of Stillwater.
Eckley was preceded in death by his parents as well as brother Earl Young and two sisters Erma Young and Eldora "Betty" Williams Young.
