Drew L Coffman

Drew L. Coffman, 90, formally of Berwick, passed away Wednesday May 11, 2022, at Kingston Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, where he was a resident since December 2021. He was born February 8, 1932, in Berwick the son of the late George and Mae (Harner) Coffman.

He was a graduate of Berwick High School and was a Veteran of the Korean War. Drew enjoyed doing wood working and going fishing. He was a life member of Eagle Hose Fire Co. and formerly served as Berwick Fire chief. Drew was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Berwick, and also worked as a caretaker for the church for many years.
Drew is survived by a son, Drew Coffman and his wife Lynne Zanolini of Hazleton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife the former Yuriko Sawabe in 2011, and seven siblings; Franklin Coffman, George Coffman, Helen Edwards, Carrie Cross, Martha Matetich, Ruth Dawson, and Barbara Rayne.

Services will be held Tuesday May 17, 2022 at 10:00 am, from the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 1024 N. Market St. Berwick Pa. 18603, with his Pastor Christine Kirchner officiating, Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday May 16, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm..
