Dorothy R (Fenstemaker) Keifer

Dorothy R. Keifer, 91, of Berwick passed Saturday September 10, 2022 at Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Berwick. She was born February 4, 1931 in Berwick, a daughter of the late Claude and Hilda (Parker) Fenstemaker.

She graduated from Berwick High School and married her loving husband Wellington on October 14, 1949. Dot was a member of Summerhill United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafting, traveling all over the US, baking, and being outdoors. She loved having picnics and parties with her family, but most of all she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Dot is survived by brother Jack Fenstemaker of Berwick, sister Judy Whitmire (Carl) of Berwick, and four generations of nieces and nephews.

Dot was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband Wellington “Wimp” Keifer who passed on January 30, 2021, and five siblings; Glen, David, Edsel, William Fenstemaker, and Barbara Church.

Services will be Friday September 16, 2022 at 11:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 N. Market St., Berwick with Pastor Troy Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Summerhill Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
