Dennis G Traugh

               Dennis G. Traugh, 74, of Berwick passed away Sunday November 29, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1941 in Berwick, a son of the late Jesse Grant and Anna (Zeiser) Traugh Sr.

               He graduated from Berwick High School, and then enlisted in the Army. Dennis worked for Wise Potato Chips as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and his dog Buddy. He was very active in his church, Pine Street Baptist Church where he was a deacon and a trustee.

               Dennis is survived by his wife Joan (Samsel) Readler Traugh, two sons: Timothy A. Traugh and wife Lori, Seth A. Traugh and wife Kathy, all of Berwick; three daughters: Robin D. Walker and husband Douglas of Lander, Wyoming, Teresa D. Stepanski and husband Al of Crowley, Texas, and Rosemary Riffindifil and husband Jason of Berwick, a daughter-in-law Melissa Traugh DeWalt of Jersey Shore, PA.; 10 grandchildren, and a brother George Traugh of Pocono, PA. Also two step-sons David Readler and wife Sarah of Hobbie, and Dale Readler and wife Cindy of Berwick.

               Dennis was preceded in death by his first wife Sarah (Smith) Traugh who passed away on November 18, 2012, a son Jeremy M. Traugh, who passed away in 1995, and three brothers: Jesse Grant Jr., Robert, and Richard.

               Services will be Wednesday December 2, 2015 at 11:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home, 1024 Market St. Berwick with Pastor Larry Smith and Dan Belles officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends Tuesday December 1, 2015 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm.
