Charles W. Robsock, 94, of Berwick passed away at home on September 19, 2024 with his loving wife, Josephine of 73 years at his side. He was born December 22, 1929 in Berwick, a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Gaydosh) Robsock.
He graduated from Berwick High School class of 1948, and then joined the United States Army and Reserves for 7 years. Charles was a 20 year Berwick Police Officer and finished his career as chief of police. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Police for 62 years. He was a deacon for 16 years at Spirit Life Church, formerly the Susquehanna Valley Revival Center. He loved hunting and fishing.
Charles is survived by his loving wife Josephine of 73 years, son Joseph Robsock wife Beth, sister Margret Powlus, Thomas Robsock wife Flavia, granddaughter Amy Alex husband Derek, and two great-grandsons Ethan and Drew.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers George and Frank Robsock, sister Betty Shuman, three half-brothers Joseph, Michael, and John Barvinchak, two half-sisters Helen Lipovsky, and Julia Terry.
Services will be Tuesday September 24, 2024 at 11:00 am at Spirit Life Church, 1338 Rear, Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg with his pastor, Pastor Tim Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street. Family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until time of service.
