Carolyn (Martin) Burke

Carolyn Martin Burke 73, of Shickshinny, went to be with the Lord, Monday December 7, 2020, at the Geisinger Medical Center Danville.

Carolyn was born February 23, 1947, in Washington D.C., a daughter of the late Dean W. and Susan (Abel) Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Francis Burke Jr, who passed on August 13, 1998.

Carolyn was a graduate of Duval High School in Glendale Maryland. She was a former member of West Berwick Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing, crafts, baking and spending time with her family.

Carolyn is survived by five children, Thomas Burke and his wife Jayne of Berwick, Tamara Crook and her companion Thomas Ball of Virginia, Christine A. Ross of Berwick, William W. Burke Sr. and his wife Joan of Shickshinny and Megan Jacobs and her husband Daniel of Maryland. She also is survived by thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, a brother Pat Gibson and his wife Candy, sister Sandra Pacella and her husband Roger, and several nieces and nephews.

Services and burial will be at the conveniences of the family.
