Bonnie M. Richards, 74, lifelong resident of Berwick, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, at Glenbrook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born Jan. 21, 1951, in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Edith Richards.
Bonnie was a graduate of Central Columbia High School. After graduation, she began working at the Berwick Cigar Factory, and then moved on to Thompson Mailing and Berwick Knitwear, before retiring from the Berwick Offray.
Bonnie was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church and was a devout Christian, living her faith through her actions and the love she showed to others.
Bonnie’s interests were simple yet deeply rooted in the joy of everyday life. She had an enduring love for the outdoors and a fondness for watching older TV shows.
Surviving is her nephew, Harry R. Featherman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Goldie Featherman.
A graveside service to honor the life of Bonnie will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, in Briar Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Chad A. Hebrink officiating. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 N. Market St., Berwick.
