Beverly J (Hampton) Ochs

Beverly J. Ochs, 89, of Berwick passed away on April 20, 2025 at Glenbrook Nursing and Rehab. She was born on February 14, 1936 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Bruce and Ester (Adams) Hampton. She was one of eight children in her family.

She was well known for her homestyle cooking, she enjoyed spending much of her time preparing many dinners for the family throughout the week and for every holiday.    It is debatable if she enjoyed the meddling and occasional tardiness from the family during the holidays as she worked to serve everything.  

She worked for many years bringing this passion to others at Weikels and Morris’s.

Her favorite hobby was spending time with her granddaughters who brought her the most joy.

Beverly is survived by her children: Jennifer Spaide, Robert Ochs and daughter in law Traci Lovette, all of Berwick, two grandchildren: Sarah Michael, Carly Ochs, and sister Peggy Hampton.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Donald M. Ochs, five brothers: Carl, David, Robert, Richard, Donald Hampton, and sister Shirley Hulsiver.

Graveside services will be Friday April 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at Pine Grove Cemetery, Berwick.
