Betty Louise Knorr

Betty Louise Knorr, 93, of Berwick, went to be with the Lord, Friday September 13, 2019, at Sunset Ridge Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. She was born, July 5, 1926, a daughter of the late Horace and Ellen (Cook) Rogers.

Betty attended schools in the Bloomsburg area. She was a member of the Summerhill United Methodist Church and was a devoted wife and mother.

Betty is survived by a daughter, Cindy Derr and her husband Leon of Almedia, son Robert E. Knorr Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Berwick, seven grandchildren; Alisa Cruze, Elizabeth Knorr, Jeffery Knorr, Julie Youssefi, Joshua Matyas, Nichole Cole and Steven Matyas, thirteen great grandchildren, and four great- great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, Robert E. Knorr Sr., daughter Wendy Whitenight, two grandchildren, Michael and Rhonda Sult, and two sisters; Bernice Gosciminski and Beatrice Stillwell.

Services will be, Friday September 20, 2019 at 11:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 1024 N. Market St. Berwick Pa. 18603, with Pastor Jason Simkins, Lead Pastor at Stillwater Christian Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Summerhill Cemetery, friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
