Benjamin Shultz, 75, of Stillwater passed away peacefully at his residence Wednesday June 19, 2018. He was born September 30, 1942 in Berwick, a son of the late Lester and Arlene (Sitler) Shultz.
He graduated from Berwick High School and then joined the United States Air Force from 1962 until 1968. He retired from ACF Industries where he was a welder for 37 years. He also owned and operated the Wanna Ruf It Campground since 1988. Benjamin was an avid hunter, bowler, and loved camping. He enjoyed sports especially the Philadelphia Phillies.
Benjamin is survived by his wife the former Beverly Walton, whom he was married to for 54 years, two children; Judy Shultz Brown and husband Bruce of Bloomsburg, Benjamin Shultz and fiancé Julie Parr of Stillwater, five grandchildren; Bruce Brown, Jeromie Brown, Michael Brown, Kristina Brown, Olivia Shultz, two great-grandchildren; Benjamin Brown, Ella Delessio, three sisters; Patsy Terwilliger of Lightsreet, Donna Shultz Whitenight of Beach Haven, Marilyn Shultz Young husband Larry of Maryland, and many nieces and nephews.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers; Raymond and Larry Shultz, and sister Marie Cornell.
Graveside services will be Friday June 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street with Hospice Chaplain Chris Dunlap officiating. There will be a gathering at Wanna Ruf It Campgroud, 113 Pine Road, Stillwater at 2:00 pm.
