Barbara E (Brown) Weaver

Barbara E. Weaver, 81, of Berwick, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Bonham Nursing Center Stillwater. 

Barb was born December 4, 1939 in Berwick, a daughter of the late Nevin S. and Fern “Watts” Brown. 

Barb graduated from Berwick High School in 1957. She worked for many years at Consolidated Cigar and then she worked at the Bloomsburg University in the dietary Department until her retirement.  Barb loved the beach and in her younger years she made many trips with her partner in crime Fran who will miss her deeply. She collected many things and loved animals. She always had an infectious belly laugh and made people smile when she walked in the room. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knows and loved her especially her friends and neighbors of Monroe Estates who she loved dearly. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Sally Ann D’Amore. 

She is survived by a daughter Sally and her husband Robert Hook and two sons Rich Weaver and his wife Emily and Chad Weaver and wife Hattie, a grandson Robert Hook Jr. and his companion Julia and a great grandson Jason Hook all of Berwick. 

Family will receive friends Monday August 30, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc, 1024 Market St, Berwick. Services will follow at 8:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Stephen Portner officiating.

Memorial contributions may also be made to Bethany United Methodist church or Danville SPCA 

The family would like to thank Bonham Nursing and Rehab for all of their love and support given to Barb for the past few months.
