Arden was an avid outdoorsman; he loved hunting, fishing and exploring the world around him. He was also a skilled story-teller and self-taught historian who could tell the story of every object that resided in his Antique shop on front street in Berwick. Arden was a Berwick Councilman and a mason at the Knapp Lodge in Berwick. Arden loved to be surrounded by family and friends and would often offer bits of wisdom that came to be known as “Arden-isms” One of his favorites and most repeated was the Latin phrase “Tempus Fugit” which translates into English as “time flies.” Arden truly knew how to embrace and enjoy life and will be missed by many.
