Titus James Lechleitner

Titus James Lechleitner, 87, of Berwick, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at Berwick Retirement Village.

He was born June 19, 1931 in Berwick, a son of the late Titus and Leona (Sitler) Lechleitner.

He graduated from Berwick High School in 1948.  He worked as a carpenter and built homes for Shaffer Homes and Wolfinger Homes and then worked for G&B Specialties retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Knapp Lodge 462 F&M. He enjoyed riding his BMW motorcycle with his wife and they made trip to the New England states and west.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and really enjoyed wood working.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty (Manning) Lechleitner of 64 years of marriage who passed in October 2014 and two sisters Wilma Baron and Alverta Farver.

He is survived by three daughters Linda and her husband Allen Dreisbach of Conneautville, Pa, Bonnie and her husband Gary Ankabrandt of Carlisle, Pa and Donna and her husband Marvin Keefer Jr. of Berwick, four grandchildren Aaron Keefer and his wife Holly, Becky and her husband Michael Donnelly, Steven Keefer and his Fiancé Tiffany Conrad and Martina Firth and two great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery Walnut St. Berwick.
