Marqueen East Obituary

Marqueen E. East, 89, of Berwick passed away Friday June 28, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 29, 1930 in Berwick, a foster daughter of the late Lloyd and Martha Eister

She graduated from Scott Township High School and then attended Nursing School. Marqueen worked at U.S. Radium plant for many years and was a care giver to many people. She enjoyed doing find a word’s, baking, cooking, and taking care of her cats.

Marqueen is survived by two brothers; William East of Arizona, Joseph East of Berwick, two sisters; Dorothy Humphrey of Danville, Dolores Hartman of Warrington, PA, and eleven nieces and nephews; Cindy Litterer, Diane Brobst, Cathy Kobbe, Ronald East, April East, Nancy McFadden, Cathy Dressel, Wade Whitfield, Robert Thomas, Lloyd Thomas, and Angel Kachline.

Marqueen was preceded in death by her parents as well as two sisters; Mary Alice Whitfield and Nancy Thomas.
