Laura M (Titus) Titman

Laura M. Titman, 70, of Stillwater passed away Wednesday September 20, 2017 at Geisinger-Bloomsburg Hospital. She was born December 11, 1946 in Nanticoke, a daughter of the late William and Flora (Franklin) Titus Sr.

She attended Northwest High School, and then worked at the cigar factory and as a nurse’s aide at Klingerman Nursing Home now Garden’s of Orangeville. Laura enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, doing puzzle books, and stealing ink pens whenever she had the chance. If one of her nieces came into her house and she liked their purses, she would have them empty there purse out and she would then claim it.

Laura is survived by three sons; Dale F. Titman Jr. and wife Alice of Berwick, Michael A. Titman wife Leona of Dallas, and James W. Titman of Stillwater, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother William Titus wife Bonnie of Dallas, and sister Emma Coombs husband Barry of Dallas.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband Dale Francis Titman Sr., and four brothers; George, John, Clifford, and Jesse Titus.

Services will be Saturday September 23, 2017 at 11:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 Market St., Berwick with Pastor Robert Strozyk officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Scott Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service.
