James D. Cherrington

James D. Cherrington 70, of Berwick, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 30, 2019 at his residence surrounded by family.

James was born February 1, 1949, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late James M. and Dorothy (Troy) Cherrington.

James attended Central Columbia High School and served in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed hiking, watching Westerns and going to the beach.

James is survived by his wife, the former Joselle Cope, whom he married on February 6, 1982,  son Donald Savage, two daughters; Tracy Huntington and Marie Savage all of Berwick, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. As well as brother Gary Cherrington of Cape Corel Fl.

Family will have a celebration of James Life, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from 2:00pm till 4:00pm at his residence, 332 E. 8th St. Berwick Pa. 18603. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
