Donald Paisley Obituary

Donald R. Paisley, 86, of Berwick went to be with the Lord, Friday August 9, 2019, at Berwick Retirement Village ll. He had been in failing health for the past year.

Donald was born on May 1, 1933, in Dorrance, Pa, a son of the late Orval and Agatha (Comcheck) Paisley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth O. Paisley Sr. and Dr. Orval J. Paisley.

Donald was a proud Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the Army. He was a welder for AC&F in Berwick, a security guard at the PP&L Power Plant in Berwick, a custodian at Bon Homme Shirt Factory in Berwick and in his later years a school crossing guard for the Berwick Area School District. Donald enjoyed old western movies, old Country & Western music and reminiscing about the 1940's - 50's.

Donald is survived by a brother Myles Paisley and his wife Joyce of Troy, Michigan, sister Ruth Ambosie and her husband Dale of Mt. Top, Pa, sister in law Mary Paisley of Berwick, Pa, aunt Ruth Dunnigan of Pompano Beach, Florida and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Abiding by Donald’s wishes there will be no viewing or services. Internment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Hobbie, PA.
