Carol A (Schriver) Reiter

Carol Ann Sweeney Reiter, 59, of Bloomsburg passed away January 19, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born December 7, 1959, a daughter of the late Robert and Dorothea (Harman) Schriver.

She was married to George Sweeney who passed away in 1987, and then married Douglas Reiter on March 17, 1990. She enjoyed her nieces and nephews very much. Carol was the oldest of her siblings. Her church Bloomsburg Baptist Church and church functions were a great joy to her.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband George Sweeney, younger sister Dorcea June.

Carol is survived by her husband Douglas Reiter, Bloomsburg, brother Leon Schriver of Mt. Carmel, two sisters; Irene Mills husband Barry of Catawissa, Betty Blass and companion Dennis Mihalik of Bloomsburg, three nephews; Adam Auman wife Colleen of Shamokin, Jason Mills and companion Erika Taylor of Catawissa, Leon Blass of Catawissa, and niece Dorothea Kreisher husband Mike of Treverton.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 26, 2019 at 11:00 am at Bloomsburg Baptist Church, 2405 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg with her pastor, Pastor Laidacker officiating. Please bring a picture or written memory to be placed into a memorial book.
