Robert L. Michael

Robert L. Michael (aka Beannie), 87, of Clermont, FL. died Monday, January 4, 2016 at Cornerstone Hospice Care in Clermont, FL. Born July 16, 1928 in Mifflinville, son of the late Ralph and Stella (Hartman) Michael. He rew up in Mifflinville and later moved to Berwick where he resided until moving to Florida last March.

            Robert served in the United States Air Force. He then worked for Magee Carpet Co., Berwick Knitting, Berwick Forge, and K-Cab Inc. retiring at the age of 80. He was also a Little League umpire for over 30 years.

            In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Michael; brother Eugene Michael and son Joseph Petro.

            He is survived by two daughters Stella Jean Orr of Clermont, FL; Theresa Meighan and husband Jim of Berwick; three sons; Brian Petro of Clermont, FL. Lawrence Petro and wife Darlene of Mount Carmel, Robert Michael Jr. and wife Shelly of Mifflinville; 6 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
