Orpha Irene (Gruman) Giordano

Orpha Irene Giordano, 73, of Berwick passed away January 21, 2018 at her residence. She was born February 25, 1944 in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Harry Gruman and Orpha Acker.
She graduated from Susquenita High School and then graduated from Cosmetology School. Irene collected Lucille Ball memorabilia,  and enjoyed doing crafts.
Irene is survived by her daughter Serena Irene Giordano of Bloomsburg, sister Carmen Mahoney and husband Mike of Tyler Texas, and niece Angela Williams and husband Jason of Wilkes-Barre.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Cataldo Giordano Jr. who passed away December 27, 2015.
Services will be Thursday January 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc, 1024 Market St., Berwick. Burial will follow at Elan Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service.
